My mother got Rubella when she was pregnant with me, commonly called Congenital Rubella Syndrome. The Rubella left me no eyesight. With 9 cataract surgeries from 18 months to 9 years of age, they were able to restore partial vision. Today they call me Legally Blind.

I also have Crohns Disease, a Hereditary Blood disorder that overproduces a protein called "tumor necrosis factor alpha". This protein found in the white blood cells, mistakingly attacks the human body, rather then just foreign intruders, causing severe medical problems, such as ulcers throughout my entire body. This was brought on by poor diet over the course of my life, also known as Food Allergies, which is a late mannifestation of the Congenital Rubella Syndrome I was born with, with the immune system attacking its own tissue trying to rid itself of the Rubella virus.
There is no cure for Crohns Disease, since the immune system suppressors they treat it with don't do a whole lot of good, so all I can do is eat healthier and keep my fate in Gods hands, since these ulcers can be quite painful.
